This Privacy Policy explains how PYQKOSH (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you access or use our website, mobile application (“App”), and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using PYQKOSH, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, we will post notice on the Service for at least 7 days and update the “Last Revised” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

When you use the PYQKOSH website or mobile application, we collect two types of information:

- Profile picture (if authenticating via Google)
- Mobile number
- Exam preferences
- Profile details
- Messages or queries submitted through the platform
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Service, we automatically collect:
- IP address and Device ID
- Browser type and Mobile Operating System
- App version and performance logs
- Pages/Screens visited
- Time spent on platform
- Interaction data (practice attempts, performance analytics)
2. Mobile Application Permissions
To provide a full experience on our mobile application, we may request the following permissions:
- Internet Access: Required to sync your progress, access study materials, and provide real-time updates.
- Notifications: Used to send reminders for practice tests, exam updates, and important account alerts.
- Storage: Required if you choose to download study materials or offline resources for viewing within the app.
You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's system settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide exam preparation services across all devices
- Personalize topic recommendations
- Analyze performance and generate insights
- Improve platform features and App stability
- Send important account and security notifications
- Send promotional communications (you may opt out anytime)
We may use anonymized or aggregated data (including performance analytics) for research, internal analysis, and service improvement.
4. Third-Party Tools & Meta Pixel
PYQKOSH integrates third-party services (like YouTube for educational videos) which operate under their own privacy policies.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel & Conversions API
We use the Meta Pixel to measure advertising effectiveness and show you relevant content on Meta platforms. This involves the transmission of certain data (such as hashed email addresses and interaction data).
Important: This data is processed in accordance with Meta’s own Data Policy. You can manage your ad preferences via yourMeta Ad Settings.
5. User Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.

Upon receipt of a valid request, your personally identifiable data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by Indian law or for legitimate financial record-keeping.
6. International Data Transfers
While we are based in India, we use global service providers (such as Google Firebase, AWS, and Meta) for hosting, analytics, and infrastructure. Your data may be processed on servers located outside of India. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer, storage, and processing of information in countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
7. Data Security
We implement technical safeguards to protect your information, including:

8. Independent Educational Platform Disclaimer
PYQKOSH is an independent ed-tech platform. We do not represent any Central or State Government authority or examination body (such as UPSC, SSC, or IBPS).
9. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
